T24 hook grid – black

OWAconstruct T24 hook – 24mm, exposed, demountable, black ceiling grid, available with gloss black or matt black profiles.

Our T24 hook black ceiling grid is a strong and rigid galvanised steel grid. It has a 38 mm high main runner and butt cut cross tees. Suitable for exposed, semi-concealed and concealed modular ceiling systems. The main runners interconnect end to end and the cross tees ‘hook’ onto the main runner, utilising punched slots at regular centres. This flexible design enables the configuration of some standard module sizes, e.g. 600 mm and 1200 mm. Also, each t-bar incorporates punched holes to accept pre-stressed galvanised steel hanging wire for installation. Or, the installer can use rigid nonius hangers or galvanised steel angle.  We engineer and manufacture our premium OWAconstruct grids for strength. Hence, the main runners, which are the primary structural profile, are 0.4mm steel to ensure a robust and rigid system. Our customers and ceiling contractors appreciate the quality.

Our new matt black finish creates a more uniform ceiling with our Sinfonia black ceiling tiles compared to the standard gloss grid. The matt black reflects less light and colour from the interior. Also, the matt black ceiling grid has an additional coating applied to prevent fingerprints, unlike the gloss black.

A ceiling contractor can demount or replace hook grid components when necessary. When combined with our square edge (E3) or tegular edge (E6) mineral tiles, the 24mm black ceiling grid forms our OWAlifetime S3 and S3a exposed suspended ceiling systems. Alternatively, when installed with our square edge (03) or tegular edge (06) black metal tiles, the exposed black ceiling grid forms our OWAtecta S33 lay-in suspended ceiling system. The butt cut cross tee joints enable square edge tiles to sit flat onto the t-bar. Therefore, the gap from below is minimal.
