Sandila/O

OWAcoustic premium Sandila /O is a textured, plain, 600×600 mm, white painted, sand covered, mineral wool ceiling tile. It’s an unneedled tile and available with a square edge and 24mm tegular edge. We machine the tegular edges and paint the surface and edges to match.

Sandila /O is a quality, cost-effective, plain utility tile, suitable for general use. We recommend it for areas where noise levels from activities is low so a high sound absorption is not necessary. The plain surface only offers class E sound absorption.

OWA manufactures our mineral wool tiles from naturally occurring and recycled materials via a wet-felt process. We have virtually zero VOCs and no formaldehyde resin in the formulation of our boards.

Sandila /O plain tiles form a complete suspended ceiling system when combined with our exposed tee grid and perimeter trim. They are easy to install and demount for service access. OWA mineral board is dense and firm, therefore the tiles will retain integrity when handled frequently. There is no need to reseal a cut OWA tile, and the density prevents dust settling and marking the surface via air filtration.
