Sandila/N

OWAcoustic premium Sandila /N is a 15 mm thick, needled, textured, white painted, sand covered, mineral wool ceiling tile. It has fine needling offering class C sound absorption and is available with a square edge, 24mm tegular edge and 15mm tegular edge. We machine the tegular edges and paint the surface and edges to match.

Sandila /N is a quality, cost-effective, class C sound absorber suitable for general use. In particular, we recommend it for offices, retail and education. The surface needling helps to lower reverberation times in moderately noisy spaces. Also, we keep 600×600 mm tiles in stock at our warehouse in Birmingham. OWA manufactures our mineral wool tiles from naturally occurring and recycled materials via a wet-felt process. We have virtually zero VOCs and no formaldehyde resin in the formulation of our boards.

Sandila /N tiles form a complete suspended ceiling system when combined with our exposed tee grid and perimeter trim. They are easy to install and demount for service access. OWA mineral board is dense and firm, therefore the tiles will retain integrity when handled frequently. There is no need to reseal a cut OWA tile, and the density prevents dust settling and marking the surface via air filtration.
