S36 clip-in corridor system

OWAtecta S36 Success is a clip-in metal corridor ceiling system, incorporating demountable acoustic panels, concealed clip-in profile, profile hangers and wall angle or brackets.

The S36 metal clip-in corridor ceiling is designed to mask services above. The wall mounted L-brackets simply fix to the wall and the clip-in profile hangs from the brackets via small hangers. The removable metal ceiling panels have pips on the short edges which clip into the A-bar clip-in profile. Once installed, a shadow gap will be visible between the edge of the panel and the wall. A suspension system, ceiling hangers and soffit fixings are not necessary. Therefore, contractor costs will be minimal and S36 clip-in will be cheaper to install compared to a tile and grid system. Hence, it’s ideal for retail, offices, education, healthcare, hospitality, residential or any corridor space.

OWA manufacture the S36 clip-in metal ceiling panels from galvanised steel sheet. The folded panels can be plain or perforated depending on the customer requirement. But, according to ‘Approved Document E’, corridors should have a ceiling area equivalent to the floor area, offering minimum class C sound absorption. Therefore, our perforated panels incorporate a black acoustic fleece as standard, offering up to class C sound absorption. However, we can supply an additional class A acoustic pad if necessary.
