S22 clip-in swing down system
OWAtecta S22 is a metal, clip-in, swing down, suspended ceiling system. It includes 600×600 mm ceiling tile modules, concealed grid and a perimeter trim.
S22 utilises our 24mm hook tee grid, suspended from the soffit, a clip-in profile and a C-channel trim fixed to the wall. The tiles around the room perimeter retained by the C-channel will not be demountable.
The metal clip-in tiles are available with a bevelled edge. Also, we can manufacture them with a plain or perforated surface. The perforated tiles come with a black acoustic fleece backing as standard, offering up to class C sound absorption. However, if you require a higher acoustic value, we can supply an additional acoustic pad to achieve class A absorption. For larger, rectangular panel sizes see S32L.
S22 metal clip-in tiles are easy to install and demount for service access. A metal ceiling tile is more durable than a mineral tile, therefore they will last longer when handled more frequently. An installer can cut the tiles onsite to suit the room shape using an appropriate tool (see installation guide). A wall spring clip holds the perimeter tiles in place within the C-channel.
