S22 clip-in security system

OWAtecta S22 clip-in security is a swing down, metal suspended ceiling system. It includes 600×600 mm tile modules, concealed grid, security clip and a perimeter trim.

S22 security utilises our 24mm hook ceiling grid, suspended from the soffit, a clip-in profile and a C-channel trim fixed to the wall. A retaining clip secures the tiles from above which prevents access to the void from below. Therefore, incorporate a lockable access panel to completely secure the ceiling. The system is ideal for prisons, detention centres or education.

The metal clip-in security tiles are available with a bevelled edge. Also, we can manufacture them with a plain or perforated surface. The perforated tiles come with a black acoustic fleece backing as standard, offering up to class C sound absorption. However, if you require a higher acoustic value, we can supply an additional acoustic pad to achieve class A absorption.

S22 security metal clip-in tiles can hinge down by removing the retaining clip from above. However, any cut tiles around the perimeter of the room will not be removable. An installer will cut the tiles onsite to suit the room shape using an appropriate tool. Then, a wall spring clip holds the perimeter tiles in place within the C-channel. Metal tiles are more durable than mineral tiles, therefore they will resist damage and last longer when handled more frequently.
