S16 tubular baffle
OWAtecta S16 tubular baffle is a premium, aluminium ceiling system offering a unique appearance. The durable, extruded metal tubes bolt onto a primary L-profile in rows to mask M&E services above.
Firstly, what is a tubular baffle ceiling? An architect, designer or customer may not wish to install a traditional tile and grid suspended ceiling. However, they still need a solution to hide the services fixed to the ceiling soffit. Therefore, one solution is to use a suspended baffle which can vary in length. From below, the metal baffles mask the services and add interest to a room or space. They are demountable to enable access to the services for maintenance and repair.
The S16 primary L-profile fixes to the soffit with M6 threaded rods and suitable ceiling top fixings. The metal baffles simply bolt onto the L-profile using fixings supplied. Ideal for retail, offices, education, healthcare, hospitality or any open plan spaces.
