S14 acoustic canopy

OWA UK has extended its product range with the development of our one-piece, metal, OWAtecta S14 acoustic canopy. A perfect alternative to a traditional glass wool ceiling absorber. Therefore, ideal for retail, offices, education, hospitality or any open plan spaces.

Firstly, what is an acoustic ceiling canopy? At OWA, we define a canopy as an individual, horizontal, floating item secured to the soffit via hanging wires or rods.

The free-hanging OWAtecta S14 acoustic canopy is available in a range of standard sizes. Furthermore, the popular 2 m x 1 m, metal, Rd1522 perforated, rectangle with integrated class A pad, in white and black, is available ex-stock in the UK. Alternatively, S14 can be made to order and is available in a wide range of sizes, shapes and colours. The metal canopy can be specified in a choice of surfaces; mesh, perforated or ‘elapto’ mesh (imitation). Through the inclusion of an acoustic pad, S14 ceiling canopies can achieve class A sound absorption. However, the combination of a perforation and black acoustic fleece will achieve class C as standard.

You can specify S14 ceiling canopies in any RAL colour. Or, you could choose OWA’s unique ‘RAW metal’ paint finish which offers an industrial and textured rust-brown aesthetic. Moreover, it’s durable and easy to install using M6 threaded rods or a Gripple wire kit.
