OWAplan acoustic plaster ceiling system offers sound absorption, fire protection and a seamless monolithic design all combined in one solution.
The seamless ceiling system is part of the OWAconsult collection. It incorporates our concealed S7 suspension system (or an industry equivalent MF system), a white fleece covered acoustic mineral board and a spray applied acoustic plaster. OWAplan XS and OWAplan colour plasters work with our OWAplan90 boards. Together, they provide class A acoustic absorption.
A ceiling contractor will install the MF grid and boards just like a traditional plasterboard ceiling. Afterwards, the boards require taping, filling and sanding until smooth and level. Upon completion, a specialist contractor will then spray the acoustic plaster using an airless pump to achieve a fine textured surface finish. The fine texture reduces the visibility of any imperfections when natural light illuminates the ceiling. From the ground, the texture is barely visible and the ceiling looks smooth and continuous. Also, OWAplan can bond directly to an existing ceiling or attach to battens/C-profiles fixed to the soffit. However, the reduced void depth and existing ceiling will reduce the sound absorption. Please contact us to discuss your project requirements.
An OWAplan acoustic plaster ceiling blends harmoniously with any architectural style. While at the same time offering pleasant room acoustics and enhanced wellbeing. The standard acoustic plaster is white, however OWAplan colour is available in a wide range of RAL colours. Please contact us to match or compliment your interior design scheme.
OWAplan impresses users wherever it is used. The acoustic plaster is a fantastic ceiling solution for restaurants, foyers, museums, galleries, schools, shopping centres, hotels or in private homes. The ‘very fine’ textured spray plaster finish, in white or colour, gives ceilings a pure elegance. Therefore, it’s ideal for the hospitality and leisure industry.
