Glass wool designs

OWA offers different acoustic solutions depending on the project brief. A glass wool baffle, canopy or wall absorber will provide acoustic absorption.

Acoustic absorbers are an effective solution for noisy spaces, interiors and rooms. To reduce sound, you could suspend a baffle or canopy array from an existing ceiling, soffit or roof structure. Similarly, you could attach wall absorbers to any clear wall space within the room perimeter. This will aid speech intelligibility and improve sound clarity for staff, students or customers.

Our acoustic baffles, canopies and wall absorbers have a coloured fabric or fleece surface treatment. Furthermore, standard products are 40mm thick and rectangular. But we can manufacture bespoke shapes and sizes within a permitted envelope size, see Selecta flex. But a minimum order quantity will apply. Please liaise with your ASM or our technical department to discuss a potential project. Or review each product specification and download our designer canopies or wall absorbers brochures.

Where to use

Large open plan offices, schools or leisure facilities, like bars and restaurants, can be noisy environments. So, such spaces need methods of sound absorption to reduce unwanted noise. Acoustic baffles, canopies and wall absorbers reduce echoes and sound reverberation. Thus, they help to create a more productive and comfortable environment.

Either absorber design will add style to any commercial, public, retail or office space. Therefore, architects and designers can use shapes and colours to create stunning, unique layouts to enhance room aesthetics. Also, the glass wool absorbers will improve sound quality to aid work, rest and play.
