OWA offers different bespoke metal panel solutions depending on the project brief. A bespoke panel may need to provide acoustic absorption. If not, it may mask services or finish an internal structural installation, i.e. a staircase.
Adding acoustic perforated metal panels can be an effective way to absorb sound in noisy interiors and rooms. We will work with the architect or fit out contractor to supply custom panels to meet their design needs. Furthermore, each panel can include an acoustic fleece and class A pad which will reduce echoes and reverberation. Therefore, this will aid speech intelligibility and improve sound clarity for staff, students or customers.
We manufacture our metal acoustic panels from perforated galvanised steel or aluminium. Then, each metal panel is powder coated, and we supply them with an acoustic fleece as standard. We can also offer an extra acoustic pad for more sound absorption.
Non-acoustic custom panels are plain galvanised steel or aluminium and each panel is powder coated. They can hide M&E services, form a visual barrier or add a colourful design feature to an interior space.
Large open plan offices, schools or leisure facilities, like bars and restaurants, can be noisy environments. Such spaces need methods of sound absorption to reduce unwanted noise. Therefore, by adding acoustic panels they absorb some of this sound to create a more productive and comfortable environment.
The architect or interior designer may incorporate panels into the scheme from the start. Alternatively, the contractor may need to hide or cover services during the installation phase.
