OWA mineral ceiling tiles are ready to go

OWA has updated its range of acoustic mineral ceiling tiles to offer our customers even better value for money and shorter lead times.

Our popular Brillianto A product will now be available as a lower cost 14mm thick smooth white fleece covered acoustic ceiling tile. The resized mineral ceiling tile will perform to the same high standard as the previous 15mm variety, with Brillianto A offering class A sound absorption for use in noisy spaces such as classrooms, corridors and open-plan offices. The solid board construction of Brillianto A also offers a level of sound insulation and is strong enough to withstand handling and removal for ceiling access. The solid core ensures cut edges are clean, with no need to reseal, and the density prevents dust settling and marking the surface via air filtration.

OWA’s Brillianto A white fleece ceiling tile will still be available as a 15mm option from our nationwide network of partner merchants and distributors while stock lasts. The tile is also fully compatible with our Cliq T24 grid system.

Customer support

As well as making modifications to our products to support customers working to tighter budgets, we can also help them meet tighter project deadlines by holding significant stock in the UK. From our warehouse in Birmingham, we can offer a quick turnaround and short lead times on orders across our extensive range of OWA mineral ceiling tiles which feature products of varying density and thickness to meet different requirements. These include solutions for acoustic performance, fire protection, hygiene and humidity resistance.

We manufacture our extensive range of mineral tiles to a unique formulation that aims to reduce emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) when in situ by limiting the use of resin binders and toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde. Instead, we utilises natural ingredients including potato starch and clay. Our full range of mineral ceiling tiles have been developed and tested in accordance with ISO 16000 to validate the product’s low VOC content. We manufacture all our products to comply with BS EN 13964 which outlines the best practice requirements and test methods for suspended ceilings. A key part of this is clause 4.5 which relates to the formaldehyde content of ceiling tiles.
