Thank you for signing up to the OWA UK newsletter.
With contractors reporting product shortages and long lead times, we have increased UK availability of our premium, acoustic, fleece ceiling tiles. This helps our customers keep projects on schedule.
OWA UK offers a range of fleece‑laminated, mineral fibre, acoustic ceiling tiles for faster access to high‑performance solutions. The most popular products are available from UK stock and distributed nationwide via our partners. Options include smooth fleece‑laminated tiles for strong acoustic control and specialist tiles for high‑humidity and clinical, hygiene‑sensitive environments.
Commenting, OWA UK’s managing director Andrew Smith said: “We have been talking to our customers and listening very carefully to the challenges that they are facing in procuring premium fleece-laminated acoustic ceilings tiles. OWA may be well known for metal ceiling systems and innovations such as our new hemp range, but our collection of premium fleece-laminated acoustic tiles is, and has always been, a core product area for us.
By maintaining strong UK stock levels across this full product range, we aim to help both our contractor and distributor customers, and wider project teams, navigate today’s challenging market where certainty can be difficult to secure.”
Adrian Bennetts of Hampshire based contractor Rocare added: “We were being told that the specified acoustic tile was unavailable for many weeks and then a further extension to the lead time caused us problems. OWA had a fully compliant alternative tile, Humancare Sinfonia ‘tegular’, in stock and delivered within a few days via a local distributor”.
Our comprehensive collection includes Brillianto100, a smooth white fleece covered tile with class A (1.0) sound absorption. That’s a popular choice for open plan offices, classrooms and busy circulation areas. Whereas, for spaces where acoustic insulation is critical, Sinfonia Privacy offers up to 41 dB sound insulation via a denser 20 mm tile. That is ideal for consulting rooms, meeting suites and focused workspaces.
The range also includes Sinfonia, a painted, fleece covered, class A acoustic tile that provides consistent performance with a smooth bright white aesthetic. For high‑humidity environments such as kitchens, washrooms and changing areas, Ocean delivers 100% humidity resistance, ensuring long‑term stability. We can also offer our Humancare range, engineered to resist fungus, bacteria and mould for use in healthcare and clinical settings.
