Fiera Restaurant

After twenty years of vacancy, the monumental Handelsbeurs and the adjacent Schippersbeurs in Antwerp opened their doors again. The historic heart of the city was a well-known meeting place for many years. Today, the renovated Handelsbeurs is a top international location for special events, conferences and trade fairs and is home to the Fiera restaurant.

J&M Catering has settled in the former Schippersbeurs offering a total culinary experience. The menu at the Fiera restaurant and lounge bar includes worldly dishes, prepared with ingredients that used to be traded in the Handelsbeurs.

The interior is breathtaking; the high ceilings, green velvet sofas, marble bars and preserved historical elements form a tasteful interior. A visually attractive ceiling, including pleasant acoustics, is an essential element within the restaurant lounge. That is why this room features a black, seamless, OWAplan acoustic plaster suspended ceiling.

OWAplan combines design and acoustics. Thanks to the ability to shape the ceiling system, it was possible to apply OWAplan to various curved surfaces. The ceiling also carefully incorporates lighting and other elements within the design. The A-class absorption value also ensures that there is a pleasant acoustic climate, regardless of the number of guests in the restaurant.
